A Nuna travel system is a matched Nuna stroller and Nuna PIPA infant car seat that connect with a single click, so you can move a sleeping baby from car to stroller without disturbing them. The two are designed to work together as one unit rather than as a generic combination. Kido Bébé carries several Nuna travel system pairings in Canada, including the PIPA and PIPA Urbn with the TAVO Next, MIXX Next, and TRVL.

The TAVO Next connects to the PIPA with no adapter, making it the most direct Nuna pairing for families who want a ready-to-go system from day one. The MIXX Next includes a ring adapter and offers parent-facing and world-facing seat modes, so it suits families who want more configurations as their child grows. Both include suspension and MagneTech Secure Snap. Our TAVO Next versus MIXX Next comparison goes deeper.

It depends on the stroller. The TAVO Next connects to the PIPA directly with no adapter. The MIXX Next includes a ring adapter that stays on the frame for one-click pairing. The TRVL pairs with the PIPA Urbn with no adapter. For full compatibility detail, see our Nuna PIPA car seat guide.

Yes. In the stroller, the PIPA carrier clicks onto the frame, so its base is not involved. In the vehicle, the standard PIPA comes with a base and can also be installed with the vehicle seat belt. The PIPA Urbn is base-free by design, using a built-in pipaFIX rigid lower-anchor (UAS) system installed from the seat shell, which suits taxis, rideshares, and families switching vehicles.
