Additional information

Lightweight and travel-friendly, the Maxi-Cosi Mico Luxe Infant Car Seat is designed for newborns from birth up to approximately 30 pounds, with a stay-in-car base for secure daily installation. As a Maxi-Cosi infant car seat, it uses MaxiLock technology with red-to-green tightness indicators and a self-tightening UAS system for a confident install every time. This Maxi-Cosi Mico Luxe car seat also meets CMVSS requirements and clicks into compatible Maxi-Cosi strollers for a seamless travel system.

The Maxi-Cosi Mico Luxe+ is described as lightweight, and here are the numbers behind that: the seat weighs about 10 lbs, and the base weighs about 8.7 lbs. That split shows what you carry day to day versus what stays installed in the car. Knowing what each piece weighs helps when you lift the carrier in and out of the vehicle or carry it up a flight of stairs.
